The final countdown to a well-awaited (and short-lived?) vacation starts this month. Let's face it. We deserve the break. But before we relax, we still have one last stretch of hard work for finals week. A little patience and some back-breaking last minute studying before we say goodbye to first semester. Enjoy first sem while it lasts.

Tech News
Blender.Org: Creating 3D Gaming Anyone?
Parents and teachers go crazy when students play computer games and forget about their studies. But with this site, this makes gaming freaks productive geeks. Well, if you are into IT, that is. Computer animation is quickly gaining popularity in Cebu as a enviable career. So, thread on to Blender.org for tips on how to create your own game. It's open source and open to collaboration. Make money, and make your parents and teachers proud!

Around The Web
Exploring Shared PowerPoints (of ANYTHING!)
The future of the Internet lies on the collaborators and the sharers of knowledge. More and more multimedia files are being criss-crossed all over the world for the bigger benefit of acquiring knowledge. With Slideshare, you get powerpoints in share mode. It promises to be a goldmine of ready-made presentations whatever topic you have in mind. Of course, content authenticity and reliability should be monitored and checked. Otherwise, this is another great site for sourcing more references.
